As a student in the Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology program at Shawnee State, you'll be enrolled in a variety of specialized courses to prepare you for a career as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
Our five-semester program stresses cognitive thinking skills, proficiency in laboratory skills, ethics, and best laboratory practices. In addition to general education electives, your courses will include anatomy, hematology, and clinical as well as organic chemistry. Our students also take sociology, clinical microbiology, and immunohematology.
Apply to receive a $1500 scholarship up to full-tuition when you apply and are accepted.
